What is a Birth Card and a Planetary Ruling Card? Are they the same?
Your Birth Card and Planetary Ruling Card(s) are the what we call 'personal significators.' First of all, they are derived from a formula that uses your birthday. So, they are fixed and never change. Much like your natal astrological chart, these cards point to a set of likely characteristics and patterns of behavior that you inherit from being born on a certain day. Both your Birth Card and your Planetary Ruling Card are significant symbols of how your life will turn out, and of the patterns that will show up in your life in all areas, including love, finances, success and health. Every card has a particular set of qualities that are likely to be expressed. If you study these cards more carefully, such as by reading Love Cards, or Your Birthday Your Card, you can often become aware of deeper inner patterns that contribute to the outer patterns we see exhibited by your birthday. This entire system is one of self-discovery. You learn something about yourself every step you take into learning the system. The Birth and Ruling Cards are separate parts of yourself. Each has a unique set of qualities and you are the sum total of them both. In other words, you have both your Birth Card's qualities as well as those of your Planetary Ruling Card. On a side note, some people relate more to their Birth Card while others relate more to their Planetary Ruling Card, even though both apply in all cases.
How do you determine who I am most compatible with on this site?
If you have never read Robert's book, Love Cards, you are probably unfamiliar with how connections between cards work. Essentially, every two cards in the deck have some connections between them that describe how anyone having those cards will interact with each other. Some connections make it very easy to get along while others have potential problems. In addition to these connections, this site utilizes a set of six indexes that help specify a match for each person. You get to tell our site how important each of these six areas are to you and then the site will automatically suggest birthdays, and people who closest match what you choose. Those Indexes are called Friendship, Hot Sex, Marriage, Intensity and Financial. Descriptions of these are given as you fill out your profile so that you know what you are specifying. The site knows which connections between you and others will contribute or take away from these six areas and uses that information on a daily basis to find matches for you. For those who are very familiar with the Love Cards system, Robert plans to write a detailed article about how this site find matches. Stay tuned for that!
What if I have a low Marriageability Rating? Can I not expect to get married? Can I change it?
A low Marriageability rating means that there are parts to your personality that go against long term, committed relationships. It does not mean that you cannot have a marriage, just that you would probably have to do some work on yourself if you really want that to happen. Many unmarriageable people get married. They just cannot seem to sustain it. Every card in the deck has an average marriageability number and every birthday has the sum total of the marriageability of their Birth Card and Planetary Ruling Card(s). It is also true that someone with a high Marriageability Rating may never get married. But on a normal basis, this number will help identify where you stand and help you to see whether or not you are either able or willing to make a long term commitment in relationship such as marriage.
The ratings I see here are different than what I saw in the Love Cards book. What gives?
It is actually impossible to do a completely accurate relationship reading in a book form utilizing the Love Cards system. To make a book, Robert had to simplify the system somewhat. When a complete reading is performed, it involves many more steps and considerations, which our site, and Robert's Love Cards Reporter software can do. Thus, the readings you get here and in the software will be different than the book, and also more accurate. This is not to say that the book is useless. The readings you do there are also very meaningful.
How do I Use the Index Categories to find the Perfect Mate?
The Indexes presented here are your most powerful tool for finding a compatible mate on this web site. Each connection that you have with someone, and there can be many connections, contributes something to each of these six Indexes. Our web site totals up all the Index numbers from all the connections and gives you the overall rating. It is up to you, however, to tell us which Indexes are most important. For example, if having a happy marriage is the most important, you should give the Marriage Index a 10. 10 means this is the most important to you and 1 means it is the least important. It is okay, however, to give more than one Index a 10. But we would not advise your giving every Index a 10 because that is probably not going to be a true representation.
Once we know how important each of these areas are to you, we will find those specific birthdays, and people, who closest match what you say you want. It is as simple as that.
If you go back and change these values later, you will get different matches from our site. So, it is a good idea to try some different settings on these six Indexes and then see what results you get. By adjusting these you can fine tune your preferences and find the perfect match for you at this time.
